What exactly do they mean by 'vest?' Is it what us normals would call an undershirt? Was W. going all sleeveless wife-beater on us? Whatta Maroon.

I am guessing he is a v-neck tee sort of guy but I hope they were referring to some big wooly hippy vest a'la the one spies always wore on the Monkees when trying to blend in with hip kids.
