Born on a Christmas Day, when the New York Times said ID is Dead

My favorite part is when Mr. West implies that mainstream scientists' skepticism shows that they're threatened by ID. In other words: "Do you believe in this?" "No." "It must be true!"

New York Times

I'm considering ramifications of this approach to dating. "Want to go out with me?" "No." "Wahoo!"

So what you're saying is that my dating life has actually been much much more successful than I thought...

"This is natural anytime you have a new controversial idea," Mr. West said. "The first stage is people ignore you. Then, when they can't ignore you, comes the hysteria. Then the idea that was so radical becomes accepted. I'd say we're in the hysteria phase."

Thus completing the circle started with hyterical reaction when Origin of Species was published.
